The Simms G3 Guide Felt Sole Boot- Day 1 on the Farmington River Outstanding traction on those slick algae and moss-covered rocks and boulders. The lacing system is great; the first lace hook at the ankle actually locks the lace in place,,, its not going to move until you unlock it, very cool. Some break-in is required on the uppers, but that's to be expected on a boot of this calibre that is meant to last.
