We realized that our verbal reminders were keeping 8 year-old from thinking for herself. We were all frustrated, so it’s been game-changing to simply say, “what’s next on your list?” These visual reminders have helped us work as a team during morning and bedtime transitions and that makes us all feel peaceful and ready for what’s next.
