I’ve had the Versa-slate for about two weeks. Having read Braille for my whole life, I always found the slate, writing backwards a little challenging, but well worth the effort. With this product, no having to look for that piece of braille paper when I want to save an idea or a number quickly! No having to make someone on the phone wait while a braille display boots up! No having to put note one zillion on an audio device or smart phone. I just grab this handy little slate and write down what I need. Later, I can either share the info with someone and/or put it into hardcopy or file it however I choose. But, the instantly available VersaSlate is great! It does look a little plasticky when not in it’s case. But, it serves well whether in its case or not. The little magnetic case is … like cream cheese icing on a delicious cake. And while the price is a little shocking initially, the slate and case are a well worthwhile expenditure.
