My first bait caster. It is very user friendly. I have yet to back lash or birds nest. Highly recommended for people of all skill levels looking for a great looking bait caster.

Love the new Rod and Reel!

I love my new Rod and Reel, although I have not been able to go try it out yet. Hopefully soon and then I can update my review. For now, I love the look and feel of the bait caster.

Great value

Just got my order and couldn’t wait to try it out.. the reel is very light, and I loaded it up with 20# braid. The rod <7’ MH fast, also very light. Was amazed how well and how long it casts. I even think someone who is afraid to cast a bait caster could use this setup without fear of backlash. I was also impressed with the sensitivity of the rod. I’m anxious to see how this setup will perform on big pike later on this year. Now, here is what I don’t care for. I’m not a huge fan of the small micro guides. When I tied on a flouro leader, it doesn’t go thru as smoothly as it does with std guides. Next time I’ll look for rods with std guides. I’ll definitely buy again.
