Being able to customise your knives is a great idea and I think more companies should be making this an option. Vosteed have made this an affordable option for those of us that like to add our own touch to our knives. I chose the Fat Carbon Dark scales with gold accents to go with the copper blade on my Porcupine folder. I have not yet installed the scales, so I cannot say how easy or difficult the task is. I can say that I'm very impressed with the quality of the scales and all the bits and pieces that come in the kit. Not only do you get the grip panels / scales but two of everything in black and silver........ pocket clips, retaining screws, pivots, etc and two spare springs. I must mention that the pocket clips in the kit are much better than the original pocket clip that comes fitted to the knife from the factory. I'm looking forward to fitting the new scales and hopefully I will be able to provide a before and after image for y'all once completed. 🙂 👍🏼
