Just like all other Kuru shoes I have worn they are perfectly comfortable right out of the box. The reason for only 4 stars, the soles are flat and basically do not have any traction so if you are walking on a polished floor, ice or any smooth surface you had better pay close attention to your footing.

Super boot. Absolutely great. It is becoming easier to walk with much less toe and arch pain. Not much to look at, but the comfort is truly there.
