Frustrating for Senior

I bought this for my mom, the writing is too small and the magnetic pieces don't stay well on the board. She has tried to use it and it is too frustrating.

This chess computer feels like playing one of my friend when I was young

Spoiler alert. This is not a fancy electronic chess. It is very basic. Also, there's really not much you feel inclined to write home about either. But if you're after a more refined electronic chess set, then skip this review. But if you want to just have fun and want to learn at the same time, this chess set is a very good choice. What I like about this chess set is that everything is self contained. All the pieces are stored in a compartment located on the bottom. It also has checker pieces. It also takes up very little space. I find that the size is ideal, not too big, not too small. As you play, you will be greeted by a message that reminds you of potential mistakes. Which is nice. After a while, when you see those messages, you will smile (like playing a friend). Computer also blunders just like I normally do. So I actually feel like I am playing a real person. Now of course, there are some quips. The magnets of the pieces could be a little stronger. Also, I find the plastic board a little too slippery for my taste. Backlit LCD screen is fine once you get used to it. It's not those fancy dot matric type but rather, it's like those LCD used on Nintendo handheld Donkey Kong game "Game/Watch" from the 80's. But, what matters is you don't feel overwhelmed by a strong computer opponent like many other electronic chess set. So, if you want to learn, this is a perfect first electronic chess set in my opinion.
