Review of new adventure

Recently acquired Bain's book. I am having a little trouble following the strategies he is presenting. This is probably do my lack of knowledge and lace of chess experience. I will continue through the book and and reread from the beginning to acquire more of what he is teaching. I also think it will become more embedded when I attempt the strategies via playing.
