Premium Red Dot Lens Cleaning Pen

The screws worked.....the red dot pen not so much.

It's funny that I got this after I contacted freedom gorilla about what the red dot pen I got from them did to my red dot. At the end of last months I bought a holosun micro red dot for my Sig P365 fuse. Since then I've only used it a few times. I decided to clean my red dot because I carried my Sig a few time iwb. I followed the instructions brush first then the carbon tip. I also briefly hit it with some duster to clear any debris. After I thought I was done I noticed on the inside glass of my red dot that it had scratched it pretty good with the red dot pen. I didn't see anything on my red dot that would've done it but the only thing I used on it was the red dot pen. So I emailed freedom gorilla and Holosun about what happened. Freedom gorilla email me back asked if it cleaned it correctly which I did. I haven't heard back from Holosun yet. I've heard Holosun has good customer support so I hope they help me. If not I believe Freedom Gorilla should step in and do the right thing here. I mean basically brand new red dot, brand new red dot pen. I shouldn't be out of a 300 dollar optic because of a 10 red dot pen, right?? I believe companies should stand by what they sell so hopefully we can work it out. Id like to update this once this is over because not only will it speak to the red dot cleaning pen but also Freedom Gorillas customer service.

Lens Cleaning Pen

Premium? Naw, it a pen with a brush on one end and a pad on the other. This would probably be better for a close optic system. When attempting to use the pad side on the interior of my 507K, the rear sight doesn't allow the pad to get into the corners for a through cleaning. Back to a lens cloth pushed by a Qtip.
