CoffMeter W1 | Coffee Water Activity Meter

I bought one when it first came out. Took it to the Amazon Jungle; visited a roaster there and they wanted to buy it. One month later they hit me with a measurement.0.799AW. First time they got one beyond .6. Lot of beans was rejected. I now check everything I receive or buy. I am a home roaster, 6 pounds a month for personal use and a couple of pounds a month more for friends. Valuable tool for my use. Bought a second one to replace the first.

To be blunt... I had beans I was going to throw out as dry and old. Turns out I was roasting wrong and had to go for a medium roast. The W1 measured a bean that was perfectly fine and I was just processing it wrong. WOW, love this tool.

Seems to work very well. Only issue is that the CoffeeOS app does not have a tool for water analysis so you can not link the tool to the app. Assume that is coming soon?
