I loved this book. This young woman has been tortured and tormented her whole life. She’s the only werewolf in her community, so she must were handcuffs to “protect” everyone from her. She has never run free and doesn’t know what it’s like to shift. Every time her body tries to shift she is zapped by the hand cuffs until she is incapacitated. One day she is zapped just a little bit because she wasn’t misbehaving. She is sent outside to calm down where she meets a handsome young man. Later that day she is asked to join his pack and attend the picking of a Luna. She is the perfect age and holds a unique beauty about her. Plus he enjoyed their banter. He gives her 60 to make up he mind so she goes. A whole new life is ahead of her…school, friends, living conditions, clothes, food; everything is just amazing. Until she shifts and Sawyer shows great concern over what she shifts into. Fantastic story line that is well written by Lisa Stone. I felt myself rooting for our sweet and sassy main character. I loved the way our main male character fought for her too…. Love conquers all or can it?
