My house is not burning!
When I initially opened the box, I was a little bit worried that the candle was gonna smell two smoky. I literally said out loud to my husband “I love the smell, but I’m worried this candle is going to make me think something in the house is burning when it’s lit.” However, once it was burning, the leather and amber smell came through much stronger and balanced out the smoky really well. It is a masculine smell and reminds me of my favorite hotel in San Antonio - Hotel Emma. It’s polished but bold. It’s literally my new favorite candle!

It Grows on You
I actually did not like Texas at first—the scent just didn’t hit me like my other Hotel Lobby candles. But I started burning it anyway…and it developed into this cozy, ranchy type vibe. I’m ordering another one.
