Pearl Oyster

I ordered a pearl oyster from Birdmoss. My husband Gareth, and I opened it together. (I’ve never opened an oyster before) We were rewarded with a lovely pink pearl! Since I’m an artist, I may use it in an assemblage. 💖 Fun!

Fun!

My oyster had two pale pink pearls! I enjoyed the discovery aspect of this experience and love the color of my "finds"! I made a mini aquarium with a jar that came with the sugar candies (which I had eaten, naturally) from the House Mice Box to put them in.

Mystery

I love secrets and surprises. This had both. The inside of the oyster was gross and slimy as expected. Hidden among its folds was a beautiful perfect black pearl! Perhaps a lesson for us all.
