I was on the search for a suitable silk Kaftan to drape on my form. It was frustrating to source online given the misrepresentation of materials and outright robbery for price point and quality. I arrived on Nicoblu, and paired a simple ensemble. The prints are effortless and don’t disappoint upon arrival. Crisp yet dreamy colors that transport you. The garment doesn’t overstep its reach. The material I don’t think would support pockets. And frankly if you’re dropping the money for a silk garment, you relish in the opportunity to pair with a suitable bag. The order arrived in an unfussy box. It could’ve been a better introduction. But the brand is newly minted. And may not have all the finer points nailed down. The garment was still packaged with care, sealed in breathe-able tissue paper. Silk mustn’t been stifled. The owners know fabrics. I also give extra credit to the packaging the accessories came in. Knowing I don’t need a pretentious box for costume jewelry that was going to be featured alongside my other pieces in the jewelry cabinet. It’s not over hyped like pandora. You do have to set it securely or it’s inclined to roll around. It is a statement necklace. And ought to have slightly less play to it so it stays stationary. I look forward to future offerings from this brand. A more elegant answer to my perpetual vacation lifestyle. The brand doesn’t insult your intelligence. Peddling luxury wares with subpar fabrics and shortcuts that trickle down to an inspired theoretical iteration of quality.

The only reason I couldn’t justify 5 stars is because the fabric wrinkles so easily. I steamed out all the wrinkles that came with the packing, but I had big creases across the front the first time I sat down
