Mailbox Lock and Key Replacement

The lock is in and working. The case seem to fit so that is all good. I did find the advertising to be confusing and a little misleading but they did help to correct the misunderstanding. Still wishing I could have got the keys like the ones I had

Thank God I kept parts from my old lock. The actual clasp latch that turns and locks the box was the wrong one. It kept hitting metal and was not wide enough to fit into hole. What should have been a simple install took over an hr. My mailbox is a quarter mile from my house. I had to leave and file down my old clasp to make it fit properly. I returned to mail box and with a little difficulty made the old clasp fit. Everything is working now. I have the mail boss mailbox and ordered the correct lock. New locks must fit newer models. Mine is 2 to 3 years old.
