I love this series of Ms Jackson. I enjoy the historical elements and the relationships in this novel. The mystery adds to the intrique. You feel right in the story as I was sucked right into the plot. Her hero and heroine are realistic (for the time) and I love their tension between them. This is a great read. Highly recommended plus reading the rest of the series. It is a stand alone with a HEA. Looking forward to the next one… :)

What's not to love? Strong characters, adventure, angst, mystery, secrets and love. A bold mystery man, a strong English lass whose paths cross, along with their tempers and that fatal attraction. Loved this story. Cannot wait to read about Thomas.
