10.25'' Linux screen for BMW 1/2er F20 F21 (2012-2015) with NBT CarPlay Android Auto

The screen cracked in my bmw 1 series and left my helpless without being able to access any of the features for the car or music/radio electronically. I planned on replacing it like for like but then ended up watching this YouTube video showing me I could potentially change it to a far superior model with features that never existed for my mode of car when I first bought it without paying £1000’s. I ordered my device from AutoABC, quick delivery and great communication when I needed there support via the website. Took me 3 hours or so to install as I made a few mistakes along the way but I swear the god, I wouldn’t change my new dashboard console for the world. So glad I took the risk and reaped the reward. I remember researching what it would cost way back when to install a satnav console to the car, and the price that returned from my search was roughly £2000 plus labour. The fact I fixed and changed it all myself for roughly £320, honestly, if you’re on the fence about doing it. Get it done. Best decision I made and glad I upgraded rather than switched like for like.

Excellent upgrade for BMW F20 – highly recommended!

I am extremely satisfied with this screen upgrade. The build quality and finish are excellent, everything fits perfectly, and all the necessary parts were included in the package. Installation was straightforward, and CarPlay works great. The display looks modern and significantly improves the interior of the car. The only issue I encountered was that I initially had no sound after installation. After some troubleshooting, I found that the optical fiber cable must be removed from the original connector and inserted through the new harness directly into the head unit. In my case, I had left the optical cable in the old connector, which created a dead end and prevented the audio from working. Once I moved the optical cable correctly, everything worked perfectly. Apart from spending some extra time figuring that out, the product has been flawless. Excellent quality, great functionality, and very good value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their BMW F20/F21 infotainment system.

2016 BMW Screen Upgrade

Definitely worth the upgrade! When switching the optical cable into now harness make sure green wire down! Only annoying issue is changing source when using the audio in carplay mode but worth it.
