Swamp Rat Has Arrived! 🐀💨
Well, the mailman just dropped off something a little different here at the Papp Workshop… and all I can say is WOW!
I recently received the Swamp Rat Swamp Buggy from AJ Model Kits, and before a single part is assembled, I’m already impressed.
First off, this wasn’t tossed in a generic box and hoped for the best. The kit arrived in its own professionally designed custom Swamp Rat packaging, complete with color artwork that immediately gets you excited about the project inside. As modelers, we all know first impressions matter, and AJ absolutely nailed it.
Opening the box revealed one of the best-packaged 3D printed kits I’ve ever seen. Every component was carefully organized, securely protected, and thoughtfully packed to prevent damage during shipping. Nothing rattling around, nothing broken, nothing bent—just quality parts waiting to be built.
The included instructions are clear, builder-friendly, and easy to follow, which is something every modeler appreciates. As someone who has built models for decades and has seen just about everything the hobby has to offer, I can honestly say this is one of the finest 3D printed products I’ve ever had the pleasure of handling. The design, engineering, presentation, packaging, and overall quality are absolutely top-notch.
Most importantly, this is a subject you simply won’t find sitting on hobby shop shelves. It’s unique, creative, and downright cool—a perfect addition to any builder’s collection.
Now comes the fun part: getting it onto the workbench and bringing the legendary Swamp Rat to life!
