Looks like these could be discontinued as all models are on sale. My first pair of fireflies was purchased many years ago, when the sole begin coming apart, I bought a new pair. Now I’m adding the darker pair for winter. Love them! Beautiful, soft leather and very comfy design.

1. I should’ve listened to previous reviews. These shoes run small! However, I have two other pair of the same shoes in different colors, so I assumed the same size would be fine. I was wrong. My usual size 38 was too short and too tight. I changed for a 39. 2. Sadly, the size 39 pair were also too tight, even though the length was better. They were defective, too, as shown in the pic. The strips of leather weren’t uniform in size or in how they’re sewn, so the shoes didn’t feel the same on each foot. I would’ve liked to see if they could’ve stretched with wear, but if they didn’t, they would be worthless because they cannot be returned if worn. Plus, even though the defects were subtle, the added discomfort would’ve kept me from wearing them enough to break them in. They needed to be returned. 3. The full amount was not refunded, even though the customer service agent assured me they would be, which hurt more than the shoes. Yes, it’s only $10, but it is enough to keep me from trying another pair. Buying online carries risk. I prefer companies that remove that risk by covering returns, especially on defective products. 4. I have many, many pair of Spring Step/L’Artiste shoes. I love their designs and comfort. It grieves me that they’ve gone downhill in both quality and service.
