[Magic Keyboard] Apple iPad 10.9/11'' 10/11th Gen (2022/2025) - Precision Multi-Touch Trackpad Magnetic Smart Wireless Keyboard Case With Backlit Keys

I’ve been using this case heavily for a week now and I am beyond happy! Not only is the product amazing but so is the customer service I experienced, to honour that, here is an in depth top to bottom review: The magnetic connection is an effortless snap into place and holds strong but also allows for a swift and satisfying disconnection. Also, the material that touches the surface of your device is a nice velvety texture. Speaking of texture, the surface is a really nice soft feeling silicone material that is quite durable and surprisingly resistant to collecting any muck. The hinge is incredibly satisfying and does the job, there’s no annoying hesitant points or drastic weight imbalances which is great because I use this thing everywhere I go. Onto the keyboard itself, this is where I reinforce that I’ve been using this heavily for a week. At first I was concerned about some things, but!! I can say the trackpad just needs some usage to feel comfortable, it’s hard to explain but at first it’s sort of too sleek? My finger would hop rather than slide when I would drag, but after time it’s perfectly fine. Next up, I experienced some keys catching a couple of times and it was quite annoying but it did eventually go away so I think it just needs to be broken in sort of. I immediately noticed that the backlight was brighter in some areas of the keyboard and it definitely threw me off and it made it hard to read the keys, but turns out that’s easily resolved by just not using the backlight in a well lit room. Yes it would be nice if the LEDs where a little better, maybe brighter, but it’s not something that I think matters since it’s amazing at night. Last thing is the battery life! Oh my gosh! I think I’ve charged it maybe twice? And each charge only took around 10-15minutes! I use this thing for full time study all day every day so that proves how durable the battery life is. Alright so now what don’t I love? Only two things. First is the clicking mechanism of the trackpad. When you think of a mouse it’s a left click and a right click, this trackpad has a left, middle, and right click both top and bottom of the trackpad, but the middle does the same as the left. The trackpad is wider than you’d typically expect, so I keep accidentally pressing right where it triggers both left and middle clicks at the same time, confusing my iPad into either not responding or double clicking. For it to not do this, you have to press literally right in the corner of the trackpad and unfortunately it’s due to poor design. Second and last thing is I wish there was a light indicator on the caps lock key itself, I’m not sure if it’s a me thing only, but for some reason I just don’t find the caps lock indicator on the light bar to be identifiable enough. Perhaps its the distance between the button and the indicator plus my neurodivergent mind occupied enough by typing. Anyways that sums up my review, I hope someone finds this helpful! I’m super happy all around, this is my go to tech store from now on.
