CHA LINK-D Dipole

This is a well engineered antenna that doesn’t require a tuner. A practical design makes it convenient to deploy. The chosen materials are robust but a bit heavy for lightweight poles to easily support otherwise I’d have given it a 5 rating. I still recommend it.

Worked Great and Well-Built

I installed this antenna on my portable 35’ carbon-fiber mast. It worked great. I checked the SWR with my antenna analyzer and had a low SWR on all the bands. Changing from one band to the other was easy. Of course, you have to lower the mast to change the clips. It is nice to be able to use an efficient dipole on potable operations.

Quality Workmanship

I’ve not been able to put the antenna to work. The workmanship and timely delivery were quite good. Now if my schedule will allow me to get out and put it in the air, I’ll see how far I can “reach out and touch someone. ”
