Pricking Iron Set - French Style

Great product

Good quality economy French pricking iron set, well worth the price. I generally use Diamon for all my stitching needs so I needed a decent French set. I hope they get the ALS Pricking Irons back in stock soon, I will buy two sizes when they do 2.7 and 3 mm. Please make it happen...

These irons are fantastic! They pierce easily and better yet, pull out of the leather with minimal effort. The angle of the holes creates a beautiful stitch pattern. The tines are about 7-8mm long so I wouldn’t recommend trying to punch through more than 4-5mm of leather with these. Definitely get these over cheap chisels. Highly worth the price.

Very, very happy with these irons!

This is my first set of stitching irons, so I don't have anything to compare them to, but I am very glad that I started with these. Like a previous reviewer, I haven't had a need to use the 5 tooth, but the 2 and 8 cut clean and even holes beautifully. I'd give the 5 stars if there was a greater range, and a 10 or 12 tooth iron.
