Definitely a necessary addition but
It’s hard to get water bottles in the sleeve. The flimsy but durable material folds under the weight of the bottle making it challenging to secure with one hand. I found that putting the bottle in upside down has been the best method for me.
Once the bottle is in, it is fairly secure and lightweight. Overall a necessary addition to my daybag.
