Elfsys Grow Kit V1.4

I'm very happy with my elfsys garden for the most part. The setup of the garden was relatively straightforward, although I do wish that the setup instructions were a bit easier to find and/or a clearly written version was available. I have found that my unit still leaks slightly on the return column even after following the instructions and ensuring every joint was tight. I ended up having to use PTFE tape to stop any leaks. I also have made some modifications to my unit as the lights spill a lot of light to the back and sides of the unit which cause unwanted light pollution in a small condo. Some shades over the lights and a drape on the back helped a great deal to reduce this. The growth and results of the garden have veen very impressive. Most herbs and lettuces are growing very quickly. I do find that getting seeds to germinate has been a bit tricky compared to the Rise Garden, but plant health and yield have been superior.

I love that I can out a lot of crops to this system, it’s versatile and it doesn’t take up much space. Im growing vine crops, greens and flowers at the moment!

The set up of the three tiered garden was relatively easy. The app was the biggest difficulty as you have to program the different stages with very little guidance. There is a lot of guess work with nutrients and where to guide the plants as they have grown great! My cherry tomatoes on the bottom have nowhere else to go and the snap peas have surpassed all levels and is circulating on the top! While guessing a whole lot, I must be doing something right as the lettuce, kale, spinach, and herbs are being enjoyed daily after less then two months since I planted the seeds.
