Not for ash body

The thumb fin has an attractive appearance, and in principal looked like it should have worked: but unfortunately the sucked do not adhere to my varnished ash solid body bass ukulele. I think that the would be perfect for a more traditional gloss finished bass.

Simple solution for adding thumb rest

I own a 15 year old Fender P bass with original single coil split pick ups. Pick up screws mounted on the edge where your thumb would normally rest. Placing my thumb on the pick would always bother me after playing a short while. The thumb Finn was an easy non evasive product which I placed on the pick guard & only took seconds to mount with the small suction cups that were attached to the Finn Thumb rest. Comfortable design, multiple colors to choose from & easty to remove to make adjustments. Over all I really like the product & only reason I gave it 4 stars was due to the price $20.00 each. But I would still purchase it again. Because of its ease to mount, comfortable to rest your thumb & that it won’t scratch or blemish your guitar.
