Cold Smoked Salmon Bits (Gray) – 5 lb

I’m on the fence here. What I received definitely wasn’t bits. It was long thin meat from just below the scales. In fact there was a good bit with scales on. About half is salmon colored but the other half is differing colors. Between that and arriving unfrozen, I feel nervous with every bite. I’d say I’ve discarded about half due to how it looks. What I have eaten tastes okay and the texture is passable. Since I bought two packages, I’m hoping the other package is better. If not, I won’t be a repeat customer. I need to be able to eat it without constant worry.

Very salty. some bits were stringy and difficult to chew. However, when chopped and added to cream cheese, it's very good.
