For the price, this is really good unit. It is powerful and has good torque. Limiiting your expectations is advised, as it will be stopped by roots over 1/4".

A very pleasant surprise!

For what I had planned for my garden project renting a tiller over a period of time would be just too expensive and I realized I could probably buy one for the same amount. My online search led me to good reviews of Bilt Hard units and I was shocked at the low cost, and better features, compared to other small units. This was slightly larger, more powerful and $20-$30 cheaper even before considering free shipping. Customer service was great! My order was confirmed when placed, estimated shipping time clearly communicated, and a link to UPS tracking supplied. I was a little worried at the small size and light weight of the box but was impressed as I opened and assembled the tiller at its excellent design and sturdy components. I was even more impressed when I actually used it! It’s a beast! Although it’s small and light enough to move around easily, when you want it to it really digs in and gets the job done! You can move it easily around obstacles but it’s powerful enough to kick out sizable rocks and break up dry, compacted soil. I’m extremely satisfied with this product and highly recommend it without reservation!

This little tiller is well worth the money. I'm happier with it than my larger tiller. It eats the dirt like nobody's business. Wished I'd had it on my project.
