After reading other reviews about the mislabeling of the size of the shoe, I ordered a full size down and they fit perfectly. This is a great shoe at the sale price of $150. Like all Mephistos, they're comfortable right out of the box. I also turned them into slip-ons by replacing the included laces with elastic laces.

They seem to be great shoes but way too large. Why are you the only shoe company whose sizes do not correspond with the rest of the world. I ordered your shoes in my size 10 from Nordstrom and had to return them because they were too large. I went down a half size on this order from Mephisto direct and they are still way too large. A sales rep told me to get the proper size you need to order a full size to a size and a half down to get a proper fit. Why are you the only shoe company that can’t match sizes with every other shoe company???
