I should have looked for an ingredient list before I special ordered this conditioner. I didn't know it contained Dimethicone in its top ingredients. I am trying to avoid silicones because I have let my curly hair go natural and silicones will build up on your hair, and it keeps your products from working properly. Since it is a one-off, I cannot return, so I am stuck with something I will never use. I have debated the merits of using it because I did have it customized for me, but I am just not willing to take the chance on how my hair will behave. I develop buildup easily and have to clarify a lot, and I don't want to add more to it. If you are trying to stay away from silicones, you will want to avoid this product.
