Fresh yellow yam bad

Obviously the canned Ackee and water biscuits were fine. Unfortunately my recipient has to throw out half the yellow yam because it was rotten. Very disappointing. I’m not in that city and he didn’t tell me for a couple of days and didn’t think to take pictures so I can’t file a refund. Otherwise the order was accurate and received in the expected time.
