Scott Session Fly Rod

I took my Session to a nearby lake and feeder creek and fished with 2-3” weighted streamers. I was very pleased with the rod when roll casting, overhead casting, and overhead casting with double hauls. None of my casts were particularly long, maxing out at maybe 60 feet, but the Session managed that easily. It had a light (for a 7wt) and springy feel. I had right shoulder replacement surgery two years ago and had some anxiety about how it would hold up. But after 3 hours of of casting I felt no pain at all.
