These are fantastic knee pads, I had the older version of these for years, been through many crashes with them, and came out without a scratch. My one complaint is sizing, I ordered extra large because the large was like compression socks, problem is the extra large isn't really any larger. I lift, and have pretty large legs, when I strap these on they almost cut the circulation off they are so tight, and I can't strap them on any looser or the velcro would be handing over and rubbing on my leg which would suck after a day of riding. This is really the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. I am hoping they will stretch out over time and be bit more comfortable because they really are the best on the market IMO otherwise.

My husband has muscle-y legs, big calfs, strong thighs. These knee guards look great but slide down, will not stay up. Very disappointed.

I'm a huge fan of G-Form products and have been trusting their products for nearly 10 years now. I recently purchased the Mesa knee guards and have three multi-hour rides with them. I am really struggling with the fit and comfort, especially compared to the previous generation E-Line knee guards. I can't find a comfortable latching configuration for the new "third" Velcro strap and I may have to cut it off the knee guard. It continues to scratch the back of my knee tendons and the knee guards fall down a lot. Finally the upper portion, with the rubber grips is so high that it overlaps with my bike chamois. I am going to give it several more rides to figure this out but at the moment I am not sure I would recommend the Mesa ... go for the E-Line version instead and buy them up before they are out of stock. The E-Line is amazing and I wished G-Form was discontinuing them .... sad G-Form fan ;-(
