Poor product description

I wanted additional or multi-button remotes for 2 openers. The openers are older and from the description, it appeared that I would need transmitters as well. When the parts arrived I installed them per the instructions, but they did not function. Out of curiosity I tried the remotes without the transmitters and found the doors worked fine without the transmitters. I am satisfied with the remotes, but not so happy I spent money on parts I didn't need. How about a refund?
