Valiant 2 Jigging Reels

Smith as silk

This is my first Accurate reel but won’t be the last. Drag is smooth as silk and it is performing great. Paired it with a Connelly 700H for grouper and snapper and it worked like a charm. I like how it is so much narrower that my other conventional reels. Also like the lever drag over the star. The 2 speed has helped me horse a couple of large snapper and keep them out of the rocks. All in all I couldn’t ask for a finer reel and best of all it’s made right here in the good ole USA.

Lightweight and Smooth

Bought this primarily for jigging for bluefin, the 600N, incredibly lightweight and a smooth retrieve. Can handle fish in the triple digits, but has great feel on anything. Great components and customer service.

Great Jigging and casting reel Valiant 2 500n

Its December winter now so no of shore fishing to really put to the test, but I did go to Seal beach pier and did some casting with it, and its so smooth, can't wait to get out to catalina and put it to the test .
