Kian Hand Knotted Wool Area Rug

Rug was exactly as depicted in tbe pictures. There was definitely a strong odor when I opened the plastic wrap, hence the 4 stars. I spread the rug out in my garage and sprinkled it with baking soda and vacuumed it a few times, then let it air out until the smell was gone completely before bringing it in the house. The way the rug is woven there is some stretch to it, and if you're placing it on hardwood floors you'll want a mat underneath to keep it from slipping.
