Teal Hand Knotted Wool Rug

Gorgeous, practical, and incredibly soft.

Buying a rug with almost zero reviews felt like a total shot in the dark, but it completely exceeded my expectations. I originally wanted a silk-and-wool blend for my child’s nursery, but let’s be real: silk is way too high-maintenance to have around kids. I pivoted to 100% wool, which is what I have in the rest of my home anyway and I’m so glad I did. Granted, the shipping presentation wasn't the prettiest. It arrived crammed in a basic box, folded up tight like a piece of paper. But once I got it unfolded, the quality was undeniable. The color is listed as "light blue," but it's really more of an understated, dusty gray-blue. It definitely leans more gray, but a distinct blue tone shifts beautifully depending on which direction you brush the nap. Best of all, there was zero musty or damp odor, just a clean, new-rug scent. It has a gorgeous vintage patina that makes it look like an expensive heirloom, which is wild considering the price is unbeatable. The rest of my house is filled with RugsUSA pieces, but this one is, hands down, the softest underfoot.
