Relaxing practice

The workbook is full of beautiful pieces that encourage me to practice watercolor enthusiastically! I can sit down and get started with very little thought! While working on a piece I find myself imagining other projects that I might do that is inspired by something going through my mind while painting.

New found love

I took a water color class back in college, 50 years ago! Was afraid to get started again on my own, but these books have given me the confidence to enjoy painting again. The most peaceful moments of my day are when I open a book and start painting.

Years ago I tried watercolors and made a mess. Emily Lex workbooks are fabulous. They show you how to mix colors etc. I actually painted from workbook and it came out really nice.
