Digitrax DS74 Quad Switch Stationary Decoder Replaces DS64 All Scales

The Digitrax DS74 is working great so far. We are in a testing phase now to see if I can add the DS74 to our already established layout replacing other stationary decoders that had failed and that are out of production. I also purchased the Digitrax DSXC4 Input connector board, or button board but found out I do not need it. I'm hoping to return it. I gave it a 4 star rating because the DS74 doesn't show up in JMRI for programming, and ADDRESSING... If I could add any address number not in sequence it would be perfect for our layout.

Has totally upgraded my layout. Learning all about DCC and this decoder put layout operations all in the palm of my hand.

So far, the DS74 works better than the DS64 and is easier to wire.
