Dovo Astrale Straight Razor 5/8" Ebony Handle Round Point

This is my first straight razor, and it's easy to use.

This is my first straight razor; before then I use 3-blade razors. The blade is simple to use for a novice. It is sharp, but it isn't so sensitive to the subtle pressure I put on the blade. I was grateful for it having a round point, because there were a few times I asserted pressure accidentally and the blade didn't make a cut. If it had a square point, I assumed that I would have made an accidental cut. The blade was sharpened when it arrived, but it wasn't sharp enough for me. After I sharpened it on 320 grit, 600 grit and 1200 grit stones, alongside polishing it with 10000 grit chalk, it could cut through hair with ease. Overall, I am pleased with the blade being my first straight razor, and I am liking it.
