This tail is wonderful and so happy with the bright colors. It does require a learning curve with the vinyls. I do recommend not taking them out when putting in the monofin. Only take them out when drying and storing. Swimming in an elite is elegant and different from type of skins. I call her my outting outfit. ** why four stars: I do wish there was a case for the vinyl but I may create one myself for storage.

Easy Reorder of a Favorite Tail!

I have been using the Glacier Aphrodite Elite tail for my gigs for a long time, both in and out of water, and have always loved it! Due to the wear and tear, though, this year it was time to refresh with a new one. I am very happy with how the new tail arrived and also with how long the previous one lasted given it had to put up with saltwater, chlorine, coral, algae, fish, and children! The picture attached for visuals of the tail is actually the previous one, as I haven't gotten to wear the new one out yet. But the fit and colors are accurate as described! The fluke is gorgeous and VERY large, especially if you are more used to a smaller fin from other brands (like the Mertailor F1 for example), so I would recommend practicing and getting used to the new weight and drag before doing any sort of performance. But the adjustment is well worth it because the fluke looks amazing! I want to give a special thanks to Shel, the representative who helped me over the phone! I had a custom request regarding the tail and she was so kind and helpful in making sure everything was handled with care. I look forward to continuing to purchase from FinFun!
