These shorts are great - I wear them both under shorts/pants and just as-is for gravel or road rides. The chamois is very comfortable for me and provides excellent cushioning everywhere I want it. The bottoms of the thighs have some grippy material so they don't ride up. And the phone pocket is so handy. A great choice if you're looking for one pair of padded shorts to do everything in! I wear a Medium in Dharco bottoms and sized down to a Small for these and am happy with how they fit.
