Success with the Dragon Fly on stressed trout

I have been fishing delayed harvest trout a lot recently and the dragon fly caught fish on my last trip when other lures failed. This was a few days since the last stocking and I just wasn't able to get action on other baits I was throwing. This worked like magic and caught five fish in a short time. I rigged it on a 32oz weight Texas rig style to get distance. The weight sinks faster than the lure and led to getting good bites off the bottom.

I was slaying bluegill on this little guy, hooked through the head on a simple TruTurn Aberdeen hook! Toss it out, and just shake the rod slightly so it shimmies on the surface. They just come up and smash it!
