I haven’t done my first winter. But so far I’m impressed. Easy to keep clean love basically no maintenance of the box. Will update. I already have another box for a split next season.

New boxes, scraped frames.

Just put them on a week and a half ago scraped frames. (I collect wax after extraction.) I checked them week later. Of the four supers I put on, all of them had pulled comb, three were already being filled with honey, and they were already capping of those. I love insulated hives. Less energy wasted, more honey for me.
