Heyo its me again. I just recently purchased a new pack to add to my other rods for all my other fishing events. I have a 8 foot #4,x2 9 foot #5, and a 10 foot #5. On the 8 foot, 9 foot, ans 10 foot the magnet is placed on different areas of the rod as each balance point is different. Once finding that balance point that doesn't smack into me while I crouch lower to net it is perfect! Once again orientation of the magents DOES MATTER! Not only orientation but placement as well. Find that sweet spot, and you're ready to rock the water. From simple setups for UL , to full set rigs with vests and necklaces it will be ready to rock in any condition you throw at it.
