Narrow Tires
After mounting my Corsa Pro Speed tires on my 1988 TT bike, a modified Schwinn Prologue road bike, I noticed that the tires looked narrow. On the rear HED disc wheel with a 12.5 mm inner rim width, the 28 mm Corsa Pro measured 25 mm. When I had a 28mm Conti GP 4000 mounted on this rim, it measured 28mm. The front is mounted on a Mavic Ksyrium SL rim that has an 15 mm inner rim width, and the Corsa Pro has a width of 26.5 mm now. Robert at tech support was great about getting on the phone with me and talked me through this issue saying that the cotton casing will stretch to increase the width about 1.8 mm and measure truer to form after a couple of hundred miles. I can report on this later. Unfortunately, I will only have 100 miles on these tires before my first event. The only real problem I had was with a Vittoria rear TPU tube that puckered at the seam and looked ready to fail. I put a patch over the area to strengthen it, but the same issue reoccurred at the edge of the patch. I had to purchase a competitorās tube to make me more confident about the tube not failing on a training ride or in a race. With the new Vittoria Corsa Pro Speed tires on my bike, I posted my fastest training speed 3 days ago. Hopefully, this is real.

So far these have been great.
So far these have been great tires, the puncture resistance so far has been good enough for daily training and race usage. The speed and rolling resistance are noticeable improvements over Corsa Pro's. These are my go to tires from this point unless they begin to fail. Big improvement for my cycling needs.

Excellent race tires
Excellent for Iron Man races, especially rolling resistance and puncture resistant
