There are 3-parts to the review: Supplier + The Arbor Press + Instructions. 5-star for the suppler - the order was easy and the delivery was prompt. The box had a crushed corner but no damage to the contents. The press is probably indestructible. 5-star for the arbor press itself. This unit is solid and good value for the price. It is overkill for my needs and the primary reason for choosing the 2-ton versus 1-ton was the throat depth and height under the ram allowed more potential opportunity for any tooling and the target object. 3-star for the instructions. The exploded sketch can be challenging to get a clear picture on some of the parts and the identifying balloons are legible with some concentration, it would help if they were larger. Also there is a pressure plate behind the cover that is not shown that fell out when I removed the ram to better understand the assembly. I would have called the "sleeve" a "collar" and they should specify the "Sleeve" set screw requires a 2.5mm allen key. It is annoying to read the NOTE that implies the manual may be out of date because they can make device changes without notification. The instructions should represent the item that was delivered and there is no need for any NOTE. Lastly - the instructions of use say to lubricate daily - who does this daily and, there is no indication where to lubricate nor with what to use for lubrication. Overall - I love the press and it works well but in the time it took me to write this review, the instructions could have been made more complete to assist the user in set-up and operation.
