Traditional Panel Moulding, 1 3/4''w x 1''d

I appreciate the quality of the woodwork applied to the trim moulding that I received, certainly better than what you will find at a big box store. The challenge in working with an online retailer is being unable to eyeball your product. The wood option for this particular moulding is poplar, which is known for having dramatic variations in tone. Two of the pieces that I received are a light, birch-like tone, and one leans heavily into green, almost walnut territory. As I was hoping to finish them, I am struggling with dyes and stains to create a related appearance. Wonderful craftsmanship, but I can't call it user-friendly.
