Works real well for storing my 1x6 stones and a couple of strops.........If you are on the fence go ahead and buy it. You wont regret it....

Love the design of the storage box: vent holes (in case the stones are damp when stored), good spacing between stones (so that one can easily grasp a single stone with fingers – without disturbing the neighboring stones), hinged closure with three perfectly placed / tiny embedded Neodymium magnets to keep the cover in place when closed, plus hand-friendly finishing of the box itself – with its rounded corners, no splinters or rough edges, etc. And finally, when viewed from a distance, two distinct marks at the rear top of the case to show you immediately which is the 'hinge side' and, thus, which is the "Open here" side. The designers - and the builders - of these cases are to be highly commended! All in all, the entire set makes an outstandingly favorable impression – even prior to using: kudos to Hapstone!

Fits the stones very well. Nice, sturdy construction. Highly recommend
