This Kingdom Will Not Kill Me

LOVED THIS!!

This is absolutely one of the best books I have read this year. Completely enthralling and utterly engaging, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time! I absolutely adored Maggie - a lonely young woman who takes this as an opportunity to use her skills and knowledge to survive, and reinvent herself a bit, too. And Ramond, the ruthless and cunning Sleepless Duke - I can't wait to see more of this character, too. The writing is easy to fall into - we have Maggie's POV and she is funny, quirky, and clever. I really loved this one and cannot wait for book 2!! I have been telling people - imagine you are the biggest fan of ACOTAR or GOT, and one day woke up in Velaris or Winterfell, with only your wits and knowledge of the story to survive. Definitely a fun read, and mind blowing in the best ways.
