Carrier Training Shorts Mk.II - 7" Inseam

Have a couple of pairs of the full length pants and decided to get the Carrier Training Shorts. The fit the bill perfectly but I will say, the sizes do run a bit on the thin side. So, if you are like me and would normally wear an XL, order the 2XL. Otherwise, the zipper pockets on the front are a plus as well as the zipper fly! These are lighter weight than the Carrier Shorts so great for warmer weather.

The ability to carry while wearing shorts is fantastic. I wear shorts 90% of the year, so it’s great to have this product that allows me to carry without having to change what’s comfortable for me. With that being said, there are a few design issues I have with the comfort and the reliability of the retention belt. I notice the belt seems to want to ride higher than the material of the actual shorts, which causes the metal of the belt clip to press and rub against my waist. I often have to readjust to avoid friction burn. Additionally, I have had multiple experiences with the connector piece wanting to (lift up and separate) from the belt loop. This would cause the entire belt to fail and separate, leaving no retention for your holster. Ultimately, I will continue wearing and even purchasing additional shorts. However, I do hope some design restructuring takes place to make these shorts everything they can be!

Carrier trainer shorts mk2 7” inseam are without a doubt the best product arrowhead has to offer to date!!! Absolutely 10/10 nailed it! Super lightweight and breathable with a very comfortable and sturdy waist band, plus perfect depth of the pockets making it easy to carry all my essentials. I bought 2 pairs, wore them for two days and instantly bought 2 more! Really hope they come out with some more color options/designs for these!!
